Buddha-Metta Society's Work in the UK
The work of the Society includes inviting and sponsoring Luangpoh Sudhiro to visit the UK. We have organised events for people to hear his teachings which support them to live in the Dhamma.
On his many visits to Britain, Luangpoh Sudhiro has given meditation instruction and Dhamma talks to a range of groups and individuals in England, Wales and Scotland where people enjoy spending time listening to Dhamma talks, meditating and exchanging ideas on well-being and loving kindness.
The BMSUK feel that with all the uncertainties that exist in the world, it is of paramount importance, for more people to access a peaceful place to absorb the Dhamma and take this experience back to everyday life.
There are plans for Luangpoh to be in the UK for the 2024 Rains Retreat from July to October. He will be based in the Scottish Borders.
